5 things you should not tell an F1 fan

Things you should never tell an f1 fan:-

1. "The cars just go around in circles."
   

This is probably the most common thing that F1 fans hear. To everyone who said that DO THOSE CIRCUITS LOOK LIKE CIRCLES ?. 

2. "How hard can driving be?"
  These cars that are being driven are no ordinary road cars. To drive an F1 car you first need an FIA super licence. There is only hand full of drivers who have an active super licence meaning only a few are qualified to drive an F1 car. Additionally, when driving an F1 car there are a lot of other things that act on the drivers (keep reading). It's no easy job to drive an F1 car.
   
3. "*insert name of any other sport* is more physically exhausting and harder than F1."
   Imagine that you're going at about 300 kmph, strapped to a  702 kg car. Now your heart is beating at 200 beats per minute and temperatures around you are hitting about 50-55 degrees centigrade. Since the tracks which these cars run on are not circular and have turns, drivers have to reduce their speed to 100 kmph within 100 meters while turning at the same time. Also during a race, G-force is constantly acting on the drivers. So when you're braking and turning your body weighs 5 times the normal weight and is supporting almost 25-30 kgs with your neck. Now, this process doesn't take place once or twice but happens 15 times per lap. Also, F1 drivers lose a certain amount of weight during each race weekend and also have to gain the lost weight for the next race weekend.
    So yeah F1 is not physically exhausting or hard.   


4. "Why are the cars so loud??"
   To be honest we like them louder!

   Sure F1 is boring.

Going into the next race at the Marina Bay Circuit in Singapore, Mercedes for once aren't the favourites. Redbull has gone well here in the past and so have Ferrari. This is going to be an interesting one.

Who said F1 was just a man's sport . There maybe just a handful of women but nevertheless they have done a lot when it comes to women in Motorsport. What Happened to Scuderia Ferrari in 2020
