Max
Verstappen missed out on a real podium opportunity after colliding with Ferrari
driver Sebastian Vettel during the Chinese Grand Prix. Verstappen naturally became
the talk of the weekend with people questioning his lack of experience, his driving
style etc. Vettel was Verstappen’s latest victim, after previously colliding with
reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton in Bahrain. It was natural of RedBull to
shield their driver but giving the “Max is still young, he’s still learning”
excuse brought a fair amount of criticism on their part.
On
a lighter note here are a few things older than Max Verstappen:
1.
Google
2.
Ebay
3.
Harry
Potter
4.
Pokemeon
5.
Spice
Girls
However,
rivals expect Max to only come back stronger. Criticism is part of the sport and
this was Verstappen’s wake up call to pull himself together and get his foot down.
Esteban Ocon who raced against Verstappen in the F3 series said -
“Max is Max. He's still the same as he was
back then. We used to bang wheels quite a few times down the same straight. But
that is how he has always been driving. He has never changed. I know how he is
but I don't think it's a bad thing. That's how his driving style is”. Ocon told
Sky F1.
