Mexican Grand Prix 2016

Mexico was in a word dramatic. Lewis Hamilton won the race keeping his title hopes alive , Nico Rosberg finished second also keeping his title hopes alive and Daniel Ricciardo finished 3rd in a rather twisted way. Although most the excitement was during the first 10 laps, the last 10 laps and after the race , there was a safety car when Gutierrez and
Wehrlein collided but it didn't make much of a difference.

Both the Mercedes had a run onto the grass , Hamilton especially going a little excursion and Rosberg had a rather small moment while fighting with Verstappen. Niki Lauda condemned Verstappen saying that he could have taken Nico out of the race and that he needs to realise that he's driving too aggressively. He also said "It's a Lost cause"(ouch). Both the Mercs were in a race of their own , oblivious to all the chaos happening behind them.

First of all Sebastian Vettel did an amazing 31 lap stint on the softs mind you Pirelli have given the upper limit for the softs as 22 laps. Redbull's gamble on the super-softs failed. Vettel managed to catch up Verstappen towards the closing stages. This is where all the fun starts.

So Vettel has closed in on Verstappen and Ricciardo is about 1 sec away from the pair . So Vettel finds the gap and dives down the outside and Verstappen runs wide. Traditionally drivers give up their place when such a thing happens and Max too was asked to give up the position unsurprisingly he refused .Meanwhile Ricciardo has managed to close up on Vettel , makes the move but Vettel defends it.
The chequered flags comes out with Max finishing ahead of Seb and Dan.

BUT Max is immediately slapped with a 5 second time penalty and is demoted to P5 and Vettel promoted to P3.
Here is where the controversy starts why was Hamilton not penalised for similar actions as Verstappen. Hamilton did go wide on Lap 1 ,Turn 1 and did "gain an advantage" So why was he not penalised ?

Now Sebastian Vettel "moved under breaking" when defending Ricciardo. He was hit with a 10 second time penalty and was demoted to P5 . It's ironic how Redbull protested against Vettel's move but  when Verstappen moves under breaking "it's just great defending." Again FIA keeping up its impeccable record of inconsistency.

Sebastian Vettel swore , A LOT . He did swear at Charlie Whiting which was rude , but as soon as the race finished he personally went to meet with Whiting and apologised to him.
Journalists were making a big fuss out of it. J P Montoya who was there at Mexico for the race in known for being a hot head. So its not new Adrenalin is pumping , tempers are flaring and you may end up saying things you don't mean. Why did the FIA brodcast the message when they felt so insulted by it? Vettel told Montoya " I was using a lot of your language" . Vettel went too far with the Whiting but ..
Felipe Massa and Sergio Perez were fighting for what seems like an eternity. Massa eventually held onto P9. Valtteri Bottas almost broke the record for the fastest speed trap ever with a speed of 375.54 km/h He missed the record by a mere 0.5km.

Last 2 races of the season , with the title left open to Rosberg and Hamilton.

Until the next race ,

F1 Friendships/Bromances

In the title i used the word 'Bromance', if you don't know what bromance means well to put it simply it friendship between men . It's not hard to tell that it's the combination of two words 'brother' and 'romance'.  There are bromances in everywhere and F1 is not an exception. They maybe rivals while on track but off track it's a little different.  1.Fernando Alonso/Mark Webber  Mark webber might have retired form Formula one but that doesn't mean that his friendship with fellow driver Mark webber would halt. They share a common love for cycling and are often seen together in the paddock ,F1 or Le Mans.    P.S their "shipped name is webbando"             2.Sebastian Vettel/Kimi Raikkonen   Now teammates these two have been friends ever since Vettel's entry into F1 in 2007. They are often seen sharing jokes let it be on the podium or in the paddock , they spend most the driver's parades with

5 things you should not tell an F1 fan

Things you should never tell an f1 fan:- 1. "The cars just go around in circles."     This is probably the most common thing that F1 fans hear. To everyone who said that DO THOSE CIRCUITS LOOK LIKE CIRCLES ?.  2. "How hard can driving be?"    These cars that are being driven are no ordinary road cars. To drive an F1 car you first need an FIA super licence. There is only hand full of drivers who have an active super licence meaning only a few are qualified to drive an F1 car .  Additionally,  when driving an F1 car there are a lot of other things that act on the drivers (keep reading). It's no easy job to drive an F1 car.     3. "*insert name of any other sport* is more physically exhausting and harder than F1."    I magine that you're going at about 300 kmph, strapped to a  702 kg car. Now your heart is beating at 200 beats per minute and temperatures around you are hitting about 50-55 degrees cent
