Russian Grand Prix 2016

The opening lap  in the Russian grand prix was accident filled.
Danil Kvyat hit Sebastian Vettel not once but twice and also managed to compromise his teammate Daniel Ricciardo's race . Kvyat's misjudgments has led to a lot of people saying that he requires a harsher penalty than just a stop and go.
Nico hulkenberg and Rio Haryanto were also involved in an accident resulting in both of them retiring. Max Verstappen had an issue with the engine and thus had to retire.

These accidents meant that Lewis was now in P5 , Kimi lost the place he made up back to Valtteri and eventually lost his place to Lewis as well. Lewis and Kimi were both released from behind of Vallteri when he pitted and both of them managed the undercut and ended up in front of Valtteri.
Kimi's podium is the 700th podium for Ferrari.

MEANWHILE ... Nico was up front going faster and faster lap by lap.
Renualt score their first points since the franchise returned , an amazing job by Kevin Magnussen,
A really good race for Mclaren as both the cars (seriously both) finished in the top 10 ! Fernando Alonso finished P6 and Jenson Button P10. Very encouraging for Mclaren as they have struggled so much last year.

Vladimir Putin made an appearance as he did the past two years and he made kimi raikkonen aka the iceman smile ! The only people who've made kimi smile includes Minttu , Robin (Fiancee and son) and Sebastian Vettel (Teammate , best friend).  But seriously it's not always that you get see the president of a country personally congratulate the drivers .

Apart from the race , May 1st marks the 22nd death anniversary of F1 legend Ayrton Senna. Today is marked as black day in Motorsport history. He maybe be gone but will never be forgotten. His legacy will always live on.

F1 Friendships/Bromances

They share a common love for cycling and are often seen together in the paddock ,F1 or Le Mans.    P.S their "shipped name is webbando"             2.Sebastian Vettel/Kimi Raikkonen   Now teammates these two have been friends ever since Vettel's entry into F1 in 2007. They are often seen sharing jokes let it be on the podium or in the paddock , they spend most the driver's parades with

5 things you should not tell an F1 fan

Things you should never tell an f1 fan:- 1. "The cars just go around in circles."     This is probably the most common thing that F1 fans hear. To everyone who said that DO THOSE CIRCUITS LOOK LIKE CIRCLES ?.  2. "How hard can driving be?"    These cars that are being driven are no ordinary road cars. To drive an F1 car you first need an FIA super licence. There is only hand full of drivers who have an active super licence meaning only a few are qualified to drive an F1 car .  Additionally,  when driving an F1 car there are a lot of other things that act on the drivers (keep reading). It's no easy job to drive an F1 car.     3. "*insert name of any other sport* is more physically exhausting and harder than F1."    I magine that you're going at about 300 kmph, strapped to a  702 kg car. Now your heart is beating at 200 beats per minute and temperatures around you are hitting about 50-55 degrees cent
