Australian Grand Prix 2016

F1

The wait is finally over , 2016 Formula One season has officially begun and seems like this one is going to be an interesting one.

F1A great start from the Ferraris with both Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen getting
ahead of both the Mercedes. Lewis dropped to sixth but eventually finished second. Nico Rosberg stayed close to the Ferraris through out the race.

The red flag due to Alonso and Gutierrez's high speed crash (thankfully both are okay) benefited the Mercedes . Ferrari deciding to keep the softer compound on race leader Vettel's car meant that they would have to pit again this gave the race win to Nico Rosberg .

Australian Grand Prix 2016 What seemed like an easy win for Ferrari was given away to the Mercedes because of wrong tyre strategy. Vettel did finish third and almost snatched second from Hamilton. Ferrari are definitely closer than last year and Mercedes have a fight on their hands.  Kimi Raikkonen's bad luck struck again and had to retire due to engine problems.

Danil Kvyat failed to start the race itself and Renault seemed to perform okay.
Australian Grand Prix 2016 Romain Grosjean driving for the brand new Haas F1 team finished in sixth position , which impressed everyone. Williams didn't seem very comfortable on track but the Toro Rossos performed very well considering the fact that they have the 2015 Ferrari engine.
Overall it was drama packed race , an emotional roller-coaster for the Ferrari and Mercedes fans . A great start to a new season and hopefully the rest of the season will be filled with such drama. We can expect a battle between the Ferrari and Mercedes.

Some good news is that the new elimination qualifying format has been scrapped and the old qualifying system has been put back into place from Bahrain onward.

Until the next race
Goodbye

F1 Friendships/Bromances

In the title i used the word 'Bromance', if you don't know what bromance means well to put it simply it friendship between men . It's not hard to tell that it's the combination of two words 'brother' and 'romance'.  There are bromances in everywhere and F1 is not an exception. They maybe rivals while on track but off track it's a little different.  1.Fernando Alonso/Mark Webber  Mark webber might have retired form Formula one but that doesn't mean that his friendship with fellow driver Mark webber would halt. They share a common love for cycling and are often seen together in the paddock ,F1 or Le Mans.    P.S their "shipped name is webbando"             2.Sebastian Vettel/Kimi Raikkonen   Now teammates these two have been friends ever since Vettel's entry into F1 in 2007. They are often seen sharing jokes let it be on the podium or in the paddock , they spend most the driver's parades with

5 things you should not tell an F1 fan

Things you should never tell an f1 fan:- 1. "The cars just go around in circles."     This is probably the most common thing that F1 fans hear. To everyone who said that DO THOSE CIRCUITS LOOK LIKE CIRCLES ?.  2. "How hard can driving be?"    These cars that are being driven are no ordinary road cars. To drive an F1 car you first need an FIA super licence. There is only hand full of drivers who have an active super licence meaning only a few are qualified to drive an F1 car .  Additionally,  when driving an F1 car there are a lot of other things that act on the drivers (keep reading). It's no easy job to drive an F1 car.     3. "*insert name of any other sport* is more physically exhausting and harder than F1."    I magine that you're going at about 300 kmph, strapped to a  702 kg car. Now your heart is beating at 200 beats per minute and temperatures around you are hitting about 50-55 degrees cent
