2017 Rules Changes,Closed Cockpits and Tyre wars.

Following a meeting of the Strategy group in May , the FIA has decided some major rule changes in the 2017 Formula One season aimed at increasing the sport's "wow" factor.

The plan so far is to increase the speed of F1 machinery by 5-6 seconds per lap , for them to look more aggressive with bigger rear tyres and wider front and rear wings and allow for louder ,higher-revving engines. Refueling was another thought that the strategy group had but was later scrapped. The current V6 turbo technology will remain in play for 2017 also.
At the present the teams are still waiting for full details . The rules should be set in place by March of next year at the latest.

Recently the accident of Justin Wilson has renewed the debate of introducing closed cockpits in F1 cars. First mooted in 2009 after Felipe Massa was struck on the head by a spring that broke off from the car in-front. F1 teams and fans have been resistant towards the introduction of closed cockpits because open cockpits have always been associated with the sport. The latest idea of close cockpits have been approved by the FIA for second rounds of testing. Read more here http://in.motorsport.com/f1/news/fia-set-to-carry-out-closed-cockpit-tests/

 The Tyre war.
Currenlty , Pirelli are F1's tyre supplier and their contract expires at the end of the next season . The FIA has invited companies to apply to be the sports tyre manufacturers for
2017 -2019 seasons. The deadline for applications was June 17, 2015 with candidates who meet FIA safety and technical requirement followed by more meetings and final considerations. Remember companies have been invited to be the "Sole supplier". This doesn't mean the return of the 2006 of tyre war when Bridgestone and Michelin faced-off.
So will it be Pirelli , Bridestone or Michelin ?
Who will be on top in Monza?

Until the next race

Goodbye.

F1 Friendships/Bromances

In the title i used the word 'Bromance', if you don't know what bromance means well to put it simply it friendship between men . It's not hard to tell that it's the combination of two words 'brother' and 'romance'.  There are bromances in everywhere and F1 is not an exception. They maybe rivals while on track but off track it's a little different.  1.Fernando Alonso/Mark Webber  Mark webber might have retired form Formula one but that doesn't mean that his friendship with fellow driver Mark webber would halt. They share a common love for cycling and are often seen together in the paddock ,F1 or Le Mans.    P.S their "shipped name is webbando"             2.Sebastian Vettel/Kimi Raikkonen   Now teammates these two have been friends ever since Vettel's entry into F1 in 2007. They are often seen sharing jokes let it be on the podium or in the paddock , they spend most the driver's parad...

What Happened to Scuderia Ferrari in 2020

It’s no secret that the start of Ferrari’s 2020 F1 season has been disastrous. The team is seriously lacking pace and can barely match Racing Point—let alone Mercedes or Red Bull. Ferrari has traditionally been the main challenger or the No. 2 team during the Mercedes-dominated hybrid era. However, the lingering question is: why hasn’t Ferrari been able to consistently challenge the likes of Mercedes and Red Bull in recent years? Despite having multiple world champions like Fernando Alonso, Kimi Räikkönen, and Sebastian Vettel in their lineup, the team has failed to return to its former glory. Ferrari’s main issues seem to stem from its tendency to favor one driver over the other and its poor internal communication. They continue to make mistakes that shouldn't happen at this level—rookie-level errors. A prime example is Canada 2019, where Ferrari allegedly failed to inform Charles Leclerc about his teammate's five-second penalty. And let’s not even start on their questionabl...
